Who can apply for Jabchor 2.0?
Only Bhutanese citizens can apply. The business must fall within eligible sectors such as:
Agriculture and agro-produce
Manufacturing
Green technologies
Services (including IT/ITES)
What are the eligible business stages?
- Idea Stage: Proof of concept with first paying customers; business license is not required.
- Startup Stage: For-profit venture with a product/service commercially available and operating for at least 1 year.
- Growth Stage: For-profit venture operating for more than 3 years, with an audited financial report and Tax Clearance Certificate.
What is the application deadline and how can I apply?
- Applications are submitted through online
- Application Period: September 1–25, 2026.
- Applicants must complete the online registration form and upload the required documents.
- A 750-word business summary and 90-second promotional video are required.
What documents are required?
- CID of promoters/applicant.
- CIB Report, as applicable.
- Business License, as applicable.
- Tax Clearance Certificate, as applicable.
- Security Clearance.
- CV of promoters/applicant.
- Professional Recommendation.
- Executive Summary and other relevant certificates.
