Only Bhutanese citizens can apply. The business must fall within eligible sectors such as:

  • Agriculture and agro-produce

  • Manufacturing

  • Green technologies

  • Services (including IT/ITES)

  • Idea Stage: Proof of concept with first paying customers; business license is not required.

  • Startup Stage: For-profit venture with a product/service commercially available and operating for at least 1 year.

  • Growth Stage: For-profit venture operating for more than 3 years, with an audited financial report and Tax Clearance Certificate.
  • Applications are submitted through online

  • Application Period: September 1–25, 2026.

  • Applicants must complete the online registration form and upload the required documents.

  • A 750-word business summary and 90-second promotional video are required.
  • CID of promoters/applicant.
  • CIB Report, as applicable.
  • Business License, as applicable.
  • Tax Clearance Certificate, as applicable.
  • Security Clearance.
  • CV of promoters/applicant.
  • Professional Recommendation.
  • Executive Summary and other relevant certificates.
