Scope

The Department of Employment and Entrepreneurship (DoEE) invites eligible entrepreneurs across three categories (detailed in the Eligibility section) to participate in the Jabchor 2.0 Pitching Event.

Eligible Sectors:

  • Agriculture and agro-produce
  • Manufacturing
  • Services (including IT/ITES)
  • Green Businesses

We particularly encourage innovative ventures that are Nature Positive and utilizing green technologies. Eligible activities align with FDI Policy 2025 Schedules I–III (Production/Manufacturing, Services, and Small Scale Activities). Schedule IV Negative List businesses are excluded.

Program Benefits:

Participants will receive:

  • Comprehensive training and mentorship from our Technical Team, Advisory Committee, and past successful entrepreneurs, and RAA-certified auditors
  • Access to angel, FDI, and venture capital funding opportunities
  • National and international exposure for their ventures
  • Pitching opportunities to potential investors, both local and foreign

Application Requirements:

  1. Completed registration form
  2. Business summary (750 words maximum, English)
  3. Promotional video (90 seconds maximum)

Program Timeline:

  • Application Period: September 1 – September 25, 2026
  • Webinar Series: regular sessions for applicants and investors during the application phase
  • Bootcamp: 3-day intensive workshop for eligible applicants (valuation training, legal review, document preparation)
  • Grooming: top 10 finalists will be groomed on budgeting, auditing, valuation, offer documents, and pitching skills
  • Final Selection: top 10 candidates will pitch their ideas on Demo Day, December 26, 2026

Finalist Process:

  • 3-day advanced bootcamp
  • Top 10 finalists (2–3 per category) selected
  • Investment Readiness Grooming (3 weeks)
  • Final Pitching Event: December 26, 2026
  • Investor Matching: December 26, 2026

Post-Event Support:

  • Business incorporation assistance
  • Fund disbursement to incorporated entities
  • Ongoing support from Innovest
