Zilpa ,Mineral Pigment Production is a pigment production firm located at Taba, Thimphu. The firm was established in the year 2017. After completion of six years training in Traditional Painting School , he has been working for 7 years in the painting field with numerous art masters in and around the country. During the course of working in the field, he has seen huge scope in producing mineral pigment and its market within and outside Bhutan.
The key focus of the firm is to produce rock pigments by using locally collected raw materials within the country and make the products available for end users within and out of the country – to curtail the imports of the chemical color in the country, moreover firm produces best quality high end master art pieces with their own made pigments.
Vision – To become the first ever firm in producing mineral pigment and thangka(scroll) production in the country.
Mission - To promote locally produces products (rock pigment), 100% Bhutan made products and employment opportunities and income generation for youths & communities.

It is pure natural produced with chemical free color which is non hazardous for users, and as being natural color it will never fade its color, which has no time limit for its expiry, it is considered that natural colors are highly valued once when its turns longer duration. Our products are 100% “Bhutan made” as we use only locally collected raw materials for production.
Mineral Pigment Painting firm was awarded “THE SEAL OF EXCELLENCE” under the Bhutan seal award for handicraft 2021,initiated by Department of Trade under the Ministry of Economic Affairs.
