What is Jabchor 2.0?
Jabchor 2.0 is a pitching program designed to help Bhutanese entrepreneurs access equity financing (including FDI), build strategic partnerships, and receive support for incorporation, exports, and IPOs. It is led by the Department of Employment and Entrepreneurship (DoEE) and implemented by Innovest Private Limited.
Who can apply for Jabchor 2.0?
Only Bhutanese citizens can apply. The business must fall within eligible sectors such as:
Agriculture
Manufacturing
Green technologies
Services (including IT)
What are the eligible business stages?
Idea Stage: Pilot sales preferred, not yet licensed.
Startup Stage: Licensed and in operation for at least 1 year.
Growth Stage: Licensed and operating for more than 5 years.
