Scope

The Department of Employment and Entrepreneurship (DoEE) invites eligible entrepreneurs across three categories (detailed in Section IV) to participate in the Jabchor 2.0 Pitching Event. 

Eligible Sectors:

  • Agriculture and agro-produce
  • Manufacturing
  • Services (including IT/ITES)
  • Green Businesses

We particularly encourage innovative ventures utilizing green technologies. Eligible activities align with FDI Policy 2019 Schedules I-III (Production/Manufacturing, Services, and Small Scale Activities). Schedule IV Negative List businesses are excluded.

Program Benefits:

Participants will receive:

  • Comprehensive training and mentorship from our Advisory Committee, successful entrepreneurs, and RAA-certified auditors
  • Access to angel, FDI, and venture capital funding opportunities
  • National and international exposure for their ventures
  • Pitching opportunities to potential investors

Application Requirements:

  1. Completed registration form
  2. Executive summary (750 words maximum, English)
  3. Promotional video (90 seconds maximum)

Program Timeline:

  • Application Period: May 2-17, 2025
  • Webinar Series: Regular sessions for applicants and investors during application phase
  • Bootcamp: 3-day intensive workshop for eligible applicants (valuation training, legal review, document preparation)
  • Final Selection: Top 15 candidates forwarded to DoEE and Advisory Committee

Finalist Process:

  • Top 10 finalists (2-3 per category) selected
  • 3-day advanced bootcamp with Innovest Private Limited
  • Investment Readiness Grooming (3 weeks)
  • Final Pitching Event: June 25, 2025
  • Investor Matching: June 26-30, 2025

Post-Event Support:

  • Business incorporation assistance
  • Fund disbursement to registered entities
  • Ongoing support from Innovest
